Synopsis

It's the big question of 2018: How could Vampirella and the Reanimator not have met before now?!!?! Herbert West--the Reanimator--has long sought the secret to perfecting his reagent and break death's hold on mankind once and for all. The key to his success lies in only one place--the forbidden tomb of the Aztec god of death! But disturbing sleeping gods is as troubling (to put it mildly) as raising the uncontrollable, murderous dead... especially when this deity is an ancient enemy of Vampirella of Drakulon! It's vampire versus mad scientist in a battle that threatens to tear the gates of the underworld asunder!

Plot Summary

Somewhere in Mexico, Dr. Herbert West and his army of Re-animated dead, have taken over a religious temple, murdered all the monks and taken their tombs about death and it's gods.

He then follow a map in one of the tomb to underground tunnels that no human has traversed in over a thousand years. While walking down one hall two magical fire bats appear and fly off. The doctor assumes it was meant to scare off tomb raiders but he is uneffected.

Meanwhile, in the city, Vampirella saves a young woman and fights off a pack of werewolves, then when she goes home to shower she is approached by the two bat. The bats were warning to her that someone was in the tomb of death.

Back in the tomb, West comes across two mummified bodies and when he injects one with the re-agent serum it comes to life and annouceses she is Mictēcacihuātlthe, the Lady of Death, and he has awaken her so that she can bring about the World of Graves.
